Skin cancer

Early detection, counselling, treatment & aftercare at our clinic

Examination and treatment from a single source.

DKZ is one of the few private dermatological specialist centres to offer the entire spectrum of skin cancer care. In addition to state-of-the-art diagnostics, we have a specialised operating theatre in category OP 1, which has special requirements for air hygiene, which greatly reduces complications at the operated site and enables good and aesthetically pleasing healing.

The diagnosed skin cancer can therefore be surgically removed directly on site and you will be looked after by the same team of specialists at all times. This creates trust and saves you time and money.

Your path to healthy skin

1

Initial consultation

We examine your skin for abnormalities. Changes are checked using a dermatoscope. Any abnormalities are photodocumented or immediately biopsied and analysed in the laboratory.

2

Diagnosis & Plan

We analyse the results of the examination and discuss the various treatment options in a personal consultation.

3

Operation

We remove the tumour in our in-house operating theatre.

4

Aftercare

Depending on the type of cancer, we will remove the surrounding tissue at a further appointment. We then check your skin at regular intervals.

Aftercare

Patients who have already been diagnosed with skin cancer have an increased risk of developing cancer cells again. In this case, the skin should therefore be checked at least every six months.

Follow-up checks for patients with melanoma are strictly regulated. They take place 2 - 4 times a year. Depending on the thickness of the removed tumour, the body is regularly examined for metastases using X-rays, ultrasound or computer tomography.

«I am very glad I went to this clinic a long time ago and have already had the best possible treatment there several times... Everything was extremely professional and competent. My skin has recovered very well from years of sun damage. Dr Michel is extremely competent in his consultations, examinations and procedures. ... Great clinic👍, Bravo!»

Emra E.

«What I find very pleasant is Dr Michel's calm manner, his analytical and competent approach and his ability to explain the problem in a simple way and explain the procedure. He is the only dermatologist with whom I have seen clearly recognisable improvements in my skin after every treatment. I can warmly recommend Dr Michel at any time!»
