Is this a private clinic? Will the health insurance company pay for my consultation?
Yes, DKZ is a company under private law that is wholly owned by the founders and employees.
Treatments that are of a medical nature and are billed according to the TARMED tariff are covered by Swiss health insurance companies, subject to deductible and excess and depending on the insurance model.
Do you have car parking spaces? Where can I park?
DKZ Zurich:
Coming from Aargauerstrasse (red light: Westlink P / delivery Vulkanplatz 7-9), there are paid public car parks directly under the Europabrücke bridge. We have also rented a limited number of parking spaces in the underground car park, which can be used by our patients depending on availability.
DKZ Ostschweiz:
The DKZ Ostschweiz has sufficient parking spaces in the West One underground car park.
DKZ Zentralschweiz:
The DKZ Zentralschweiz has sufficient parking spaces in the FlexA2 underground car park.
Can I also get to you via the stairs, I'm panicking in the lift.
Yes, our clinics are accessible via a staircase.
Terms
May I please speak to Mr Dr or Mrs Dr briefly by telephone?
During consultation hours, none of our service providers can be reached by telephone as they are 100% committed to looking after their patients. You are welcome to make an appointment for a telephone consultation with the responsible doctor at off-peak times with our telephonists.
Can I come by without an appointment?
No, consultations at the DKZ are only possible by appointment.
Is my appointment covered by health insurance or do I have to pay directly?
With a few exceptions, such as Assura insurance, the invoice for medical consultations is sent directly to your health insurance company electronically. They will then forward the invoice to you for payment, taking into account the deductible and excess. Of course, the invoice can also be paid on the spot. Non-medical consultations and treatments (so-called self-pay services) must be paid immediately on site in cash or by major credit card.
How can I make an appointment?
The easiest way to make an appointment is online on our website using our binding appointment request form. You are also welcome to make an appointment by telephone. We ask for your understanding that there may be waiting times depending on the time of day.
Will I be on straight away or are you running late?
The agendas of our service providers are planned in such a way that there should be no major delays. However, as we work with people and operate on an outpatient basis, delays may occur. Our reception team will inform you of any major delays in good time.
I have made an online enquiry, unfortunately I have not yet received a reply, can I make an appointment with you?
Online appointment requests are answered within 24 hours (at weekends on the next working day). We therefore ask you to refrain from contacting us by telephone before the end of these 24 hours.
Can you please check when my appointment is?
We ask you to make a note of the date when you make your appointment. you will receive an automatically generated reminder text message 2 days before your appointment. If you are still unsure about your next appointment, our receptionists will be happy to help you.
I have sent an online enquiry and now the appointment does not suit me. Can I postpone / cancel my appointment?
For such enquiries, please contact us on 058 255 00 75. Please understand that we can only reschedule agreed appointments by telephone. We ask for your understanding that there may be waiting times depending on the time of day.

How much will it cost me if I don't turn up?
Agreed appointments must be cancelled by telephone at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend. Outside our opening hours, cancellations must be made by e-mail. Due to operational reasons and very high demand, we unfortunately have to charge for appointments that are not postponed or cancelled in good time, depending on the type of appointment and duration (but at least CHF 90.00). Cancellations and postponements due to medical reasons are possible at any time free of charge.

Doctors
Can the doctor speak German/ English/ Italian/ Spanish/ French?
We can offer consultations in Swiss German, High German, English, French and Polish. Please mention this when making an appointment.
Do you also have Swiss doctors?
DKZ is intentionally a very multicultural company. In addition to employees from Switzerland (including doctors), we employ many other nationalities.

Is the operation under general anaesthetic?
Most surgical procedures are performed under local anaesthetic. Major procedures, e.g. in aesthetic surgery, are performed under analgosedation (twilight sleep). General anaesthesia is rarely used and only at the explicit request of the patient.
Costs
May I know how expensive your treatment is? .
Medically prescribed consultations and treatments are charged according to the TARMED tariff and are identical for all dermatologists in Switzerland. Our telephone operators can only give you a cost range from - to - in advance. For non-medical consultations and treatments (so-called self-pay services), you will find price ranges for the individual consultations and treatments on our website.
As a professional specialist clinic, we focus on the care and advice of our patients by our dermatology specialists. Every skin is different and has different needs, characterised by biography and personal lifestyle. That is why we have developed the individual RESKIN plan. That's why our aesthetic treatments always start with an individual consultation appointment for CHF 100.00 with one of our specialist aestheticians.
